Students transferring from junior/community colleges are limited to transferring 66 college level semester credit hours toward graduation requirements.
Students transferring from four-year accredited institutions may transfer a maximum of 96 college level semester credit hours toward graduation requirements. Only courses with grades of “C” or better are accepted for transfer credit.
Note: There is no guarantee that all transfer credit will apply towards satisfying degree requirements at Huston-Tillotson University. The Academic Department Chairperson and Academic Advisor, in consultation with the Registrar, make the final decision to accept transfer credit applicable to the student’s degree plan. Residency requirements for degrees at Huston-Tillotson University must be met regardless of the amount of coursework transferred (for more information, speak with the Office of Records and Registration). Transfer credit is not counted in calculating a student’s cumulative GPA.
